Last week we stopped off in Cambridge for a few hours, on our drive down to Kent to see some of the South Coast. Cambridge is a lovely, pretty city; dominated by the University, there are lovely old college buildings, students and cyclists everywhere.
There are loads of little alleyways and side streets to explore - we found it best just to wander around on foot and see what we found, as Cambridge is fairly small. We didn't stay for long enough to go punting along the river - probably wise to save it for a warmer day anyway!
Some of the little shops and pubs are very quirky and extremely traditional - anyone looking to come across some English eccentrics will do very well here.
Since I bought this hat, I haven't worn it that much but I love whenever I see them on other people so I decided I needed to bring it out more often. The black suede-y texture is matched by the fringed bag, an old favourite.
