Compared to other Italian cities I've visited, Milan definitely doesn't seem to have as many impressive historical buildings beside the Cathedral, but the Castello Sforzesco goes a long way to help make up for it. A vast structure, it was built in the 15th Century but looks very different to any English buildings from a similar period so is very interesting to explore.
The museums inside the Castle are well worth the entry fee, but for those on a budget you can gain free entry if you visit at certain times of day so it's worth checking on the website. They have a very good collection of ancient art, and the ancient weapons section was well worth a look too!
As for my look, I picked up this (faux) shearling lined jacket from Alcott in Milan and it kept me super cosy. Looking at the runways for AW15 I see that shearling is here to stay - the best thing about this jacket is that it's just on the inside so I don't need to worry about getting it too dirty! Teamed with my favourite ASOS Petite ripped jeans, Topshop plaid shirt and my Nike Flyknits, of course.
This hairstyle is one of my favourites to play around with - it's chic and apparently a bit of a statement as people always tend to comment on it!! Best of all it suited Milan's inevitable drizzle as it didn't matter about getting wet and having a few frizzy flyaways, I think it's one of those looks that actually improves with frizz.
