A wintery seaside walk in Eastbourne

Another of our stops on our trip around the south of England was Beachy Head, a beautiful spot along the coast in East Sussex - I will be posting a few (unglamorous!) photos of our windy walk there in the next few days. Eastbourne is only a few minutes' drive from Beachy Head, so we spent the night in the Shore View Hotel on the seafront, a cute and comfy hotel in a great position right on the beach. 

Eastbourne is an old fashioned seaside town where we enjoyed lovely fish and chips, a nice walk along the promenade and some fresh sea air. The look I was going for here was a bit of monochrome chic - I am so in love with my Asos cocoon coat. It's a lovely shape, comfortable and even though it doesn't fasten at the front, it's really quite heavy so it still kept the sea breeze at bay. Best of all it was less than half price in the sales.
